Large format, out of home media has consistently been proven as one of the most successful ways to engage with customers. The location of large hoardings provides accurate targeting by socioeconomic and demographic groups, which makes targeting your audience easier than any other medium.
Research by RMS and Postar found that between 40 to 42% of passers-by viewed billboard (6 & 48 sheet) posters, compared to research by Continential Research (2007) that discovered 66% of frequent rail users watch the Transvision LED screens at the London rail stations - demonstrating the impact offered by relevant content on a large screen.
Titan UK installed their first 48 sheet LED screen in London’s Victoria mainline rail station, starting a revolution in out of home advertising that has proven a lasting success. The Transvision network is now operating in all the UK main terminus stations and continues to lead the out of home sector for performance and value. On the back of this success, in 2009, Titan Dublin rolled out state of the art LED screen technology in four key termini in Dublin.

Cutting Edge Technology
LED displays are becoming increasingly developed and sophisticated. The image quality, brightness, definition and service life of these displays have been significantly improved. With their advanced technical specifications, performance and functionality, ’Video True Colour’ displays are now common place in a wide range of outdoor and indoor sites.
The latest LED displays accept any signal or pre-recorded video file and reproduce the image in the PAL, SECAM or NTSC format in millions of colours. The latest units on the market feature housing units that isolate internal components from the weather and pollutants and where needed have automatic air conditioning systems incorporated into them.
Not only can these latest LED screens be as big as you need them to be—but it is also possible to build them into interesting shapes as every screen is individually created.
The brightness of any environment changes throughout a 24 hour setting and it is therefore crucial to have a screen that can cope with the variations between daylight and electronic lighting whilst indoors, or the difference between full sunlight and total darkness when outdoor.
Our LED screens have an in-built processor that automatically adjusts the LED’s at each brightness setting, changing the colours and contrasts to ensure that the picture is kept brilliantly clear whatever the light levels.

The temperature within an enclosed screen sitting in direct sunlight could potentially reach more than 50oF even before the LED screen has been switched on. For this reason, our LED consultant will advise you on the equipment necessary to ensure your screen’s reliability. With the right equipment these screens are capable of running in extreme temperature conditions such as Saudi Arabia.
LED Life
Our top quality screens use Nichia LEDs (possibly the best LEDs you can buy) and their environmentally sealed cases are included in the cost of the display. These LEDs have an impressive estimated life-span of 100,000 hours
Superb reliability
Our screens are robust and reliable, however when you’ve just invested in a digital signage network there’s nothing more frustrating than a blank screen, we can ensure that this does not happen. Dynamax can provide support services which ensure that in the event of failure, downtime is kept to a minimum. Spares are kept to ensure that any changed LED lamps are unobtrusive.
LEDs are also economical with power. A ‘48 sheet’ (3 x 6m) LED screen has an estimated cost from £10 per day in electricity.
